ABOUT ME
I am a Creative Arts Practitioner that implements a strong focus on shared experience. I believe there is always time in the present moment to connect with yourself, others, and the world around.
Through my practice i always strive to facilitate an environment that considers how best to support an individual to grow and flourish.
My art practice is built upon a variety of techniques although process-based arts and themes of the natural environment/resources have been reoccurring themes in my practice.
My personal interests include taking care of my many plants, yoga and learning about different spiritual practices, particularly with influences from Taoist and Buddhist philosophy. This is notable as these elements of my life often influence my creative arts practice by always aiming to come across as my authentic self.
I hope you enjoy viewing the many projects i have had the opportunity to create/facilitate, and if you have any questions about my practice or projects feel free to email me in the 'contact' section below.

The Perception of Time
The perception of time is a participatory project exhibited in Pontypridd within the 'Part of Ponty' exhibition. This includes a series of documentary photography taken by myself (Hollie Hughes) and four participants local to Pontypridd. Participants have been gifted well-being activity boxes that included a disposable camera and some prompts to create their own series of documentary photography of moments in their own lives. This project is called 'The Perception of Time' as it displays moments captured of the past however, contemplates whether the past really exist or are these actually depictions of the present? The only time to ever exist.
